Ah yes, theatre during a pandemic. Clear masks don't affect the sound quality in any way whatsoever!

Sarcasm aside, even with the "unprecedented-ness" of this production, I think the final product turned out all right! ​

Working, at the surface level, is just a collection of vignettes. They don't really play into each other unless you have the original context of them: Studs Terkel's interviews.​ While this context is emphasized in the stage directions, I still wanted it to feel like the cacophony made the music, not that the music was a byproduct.
